if i wan to upgrade a wep by buying 1 with gd bonus, will the price differ if the item is rare or uncommon but has the same bonus and the current prefix and suffix are not ideal. another qns, can a character without factions use an item from factions. hope that some 1 will reply

I think the answer to your question is yes - the price for rare skin items is higher, even if, for example, two swords have the same stats and mods. The rare skin is worth more.

Anyway, If you only have a Prophecies account, you can still use Factions items. You just can't go get them yourself. =)

If I have deciphered that post correctly:

1)Yes there is a price difference between a purple 14over50 and a gold 14over50 weapon of the same kind, if only in the mind of the seller. Usually you will pay more for the same weapon in gold.

2)Any Guild Wars character can equip a Factions based item, even if they have not purchased factions.

My head hurts.
